Holy Lobster!

Being in Boston is great! My friends and I went to a restaurant called, "No Name". Lobster was ordered but I don't eat fish. Duh! I am a turtle.

Turtle facts: Sea turtles can travel long distances to feed, and they often swim entire oceans to do so. Each species relies on a different diet: greens eat sea grasses; leatherbacks feed on jellyfish and soft-bodied animals; loggerheads eat heavy-shelled animals such as crabs and clams; hawksbills rely on sponges and other invertebrates; and the Kemp’s ridley prefers crabs.

Arriving In Boston

After checking into our hotel, my friends and I decided to head downtown. I decided to treat my friends to a ride on the "T". That stands for transit.


Facts on the "T": The MBTA remains the nation's 5th largest mass transit system. It maintains 183 bus routes, 2 of which are Bus Rapid Transit lines, 3 rapid transit lines, 5 streetcar (Central Subway/Green Line) routes, 4 trackless trolley lines and 13 commuter rail routes.

Scary Little Guy Gets Ready To Travel

I have been living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a year now. I am getting ready to visit Boston, Massachusettes with the Discovery Education Network.

Philadelphia Facts: Around 1737 Ben Franklin organized the first fire company in Philadelphia and introduced methods for the improvement of street paving and lighting. Fairmount Park in Philadelphia is the largest city park with over 8,000 acres.
